When I think about my company’s Core Values, I think simply about how I want to show up in my life as a person and how I want to be treated. When owning a business people often think about how they want to be perceived instead of reflecting on how they want to show up for their clients and how they want their clients to feel when they leave the doors.

A small business is more than the brick and mortar walls that it inhabits. It is one person’s careful planning, sleepless nights, bold risks, and willingness to do anything and everything in their power to bring their vision to life to ultimately tell a story. With Hampden, I wanted to bring designers together that are emerging into fashion and trying to tell their own stories through their art. Each season I search the world for collections that inspire me, and I hand select each piece that hangs in Hampden. Each piece has a purpose, a story, a reason for being there and I proudly hang them together as something I have cultivated.
CONNECTION
Connection is at the core of what we do at Hampden. We have been in the dressing room with women at some of the most vulnerable and the most exciting times in their lives. We are encouraging them as they learn to dress a new body shape after a double mastectomy, listening to their fears as they get dressed to face a new life without their spouse, and sharing in their excitement as they find a new dress for their daughter’s wedding. We don’t just help you find a dress, a top, and outfit; but instead we connect with you so we can listen to you, support you, and dress you for those moments in life that are the most important. DOES PLACING AN ITEM IN MY SHOPPING BAG GUARANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE IT?
Items placed in your shopping bag are not held from inventory until you place your order. However, we would be happy to reserve an item for you for 24 hours if you're not sure about it.

WILL I NEED TO PAY SALES TAX ON MY ORDER?
For orders shipped within the US, whether you pay sales tax depends on what state you live in. We currently have nexus in some states, so we are required to collect sales tax in those states. Sales taxes will be clearly stated at checkout. Orders shipped outside of the US may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees. We ship internationally with duties and taxes paid (DDP). This means that you pay the duties and taxes for your item when you check out on our website, so you don't have to pay them upon importing the item to your country. This allows for quicker delivery and no hassle on your end. Duties and taxes are controlled by the country of import, so unfortunately have no control over what these may be.
I SHOPPED IN STORE AND THERE WAS A LINE ITEM CALLED NON-CASH SERVICE FEE ON MY RECEIPT. WHAT IS THAT?
Due to increasing supply costs and our desire to continue to provide comprehensive and competitive packages to our employees, as well as a luxury retail experience to our valued clients, as of April 1, 2023, all non-cash transactions made in store or through approvals and pop up events will be charged a 3.5% processing fee. Transactions made by check or cash will not be subject to a surcharge. Hampden does not keep any portion of the surcharge. Processing fees are charged and collected by a 3rd party processor to provide credit processing services to our customers.
CAN I SEND AN ORDER AS A GIFT?
Of course! We are happy to gift wrap the item for you and include a handwritten note to the recipient. Simply select "add gift wrapping" when checking out for your item, and a $10 fee will be added to your total. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any special requests – we are always happy to help.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPMENT?
Once you've completed the online checkout process, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. Please note that after you place an order, we are unable to make changes to it. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an additional email from us containing your UPS tracking number. You can always call/text us for a more detailed status update, especially regarding time sensitive items.
HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

Depending on where your package is coming from, it can take between two and ten business days for your package to arrive back to us. Unfortunately, if an item is no longer listed for sale online, it is most likely out of stock. However, please contact us so that we can check for you!
